  4. How do I wrap text around an image in XSitePro?

  1. How to Add a Non-Repeating Background Image in the Bottom Right Corner of the Main Panel

    Add image to Page Layout > Main Panel > Background > Image. Then go to Other > Web Site Settings > Image Alignment > Main Panel and choose "Bottom Right."

    IMPORTANT: Finally, go to Other > Global Scripts > HEAD section and add the following CSS:

    <style type="text/css">

    TD.XSP_MAIN_PANEL {background-repeat: no-repeat;}

    </style>

    Tricky! If you do NOT add type="text/css" to the <style> tag, the background-repeat attribute must be added to the Center Panel instead of the Main Panel, for some reason.

    <style>

    TD.XSP_CENTER_PANEL {background-repeat: no-repeat;}

    </style>

    Example: Hiring 3.0

  2. Resizing and Optimization of Images

    Images should never be resized or optimized in XSitePro. XSitePro is an HTML editor not a graphics editor, so any resizing that occurs is only in appearance, not in actual pixels, therefore there will be no reduction in load time. Also be advised that images cannot be enlarged without degradation, even in an image editor, i.e., you can't add pixels, you can only remove pixels.

    If you don't have an image editor like Photoshop or Gimp, you can use Snagit, XHeaderPro or any number of online image editors. An image editor for your computer probably came with your digital camera, too. top

  3. Changes not showing up on the server?

    Sometimes you make changes to your site, publish and nothing seems to change on the server. Try refreshing your browser using Ctrl-F5 (or close and re-open your browser) in case the older version is simply cached.

    If refreshing your browser doesn't work, log into your hosting account or use an FTP program to connect to your server. Delete the XSitePro.crc file and republish your site. This will make XSitePro publish ALL your files again. top
  4. How do I wrap text around an image in XSitePro?

    Here is a short video showing you exactly how to wrap text around an image in XSitePro. top
