Church & Charity XSitePro Templates

The above XSitePro template was based on a template the client saw at TemplateMonster. I even located the same church on a stock photo site that had been used in the original design. While the final design doesn't look exactly like the original, it grew out of the client's love of the original design... and the client was ecstatic with the final result. I also made the ebook cover for the digital King James Bible.

The above XSitePro template was created for the vocations department of St. John's Abbey. It's a very clean, modern design that uses no side panels. Design Tip: The two-column appearance is achieved using tables in the Main Panel.

The above XSitePro template uses the client's logo and image for the header, coupled with a stock photo image "stamp" and some Photoshop filters. The borders on the right/left sides of the template and the "textured" background add to the scrapbook feel of the site.

The above template is light, airy and classy. The header image belongs to the client. Because it was quite a busy image, we kept the template really simple and clean. The cute menu is one of XSitePro's default menus. Design Tip: A little CSS created the dotted lines above the menu and footer. It adds a special element to the site, but doesn't clutter it.

XSitePro is an ideal solution for a small church, mission, charity, non-profit organization (NPO), non-government organization (NGO) or social benefit organization (SBO). Once the site is built, one of the volunteers can easily learn XSitePro and therefore update the site whenever needed. I see small businesses and charities who end up unable to update their own Web sites because the site is built in PHP or some other tool that is too complex for a volunteer to learn and the site therefore never gets updated. The other thing that happens is that Web designers disappear, leaving the business or charity high and dry. Sometimes they don't even know how to access their own hosting account. The worst scenario is when the designer bought their domain name and now won't return their calls or has vanished to the other side of the world. IMPORTANT TIP: Never let anyone else own your domain name!

The above XSitePro template is for a local Aboriginal non-profit orgaization. Design Tip: With some Photoshop magic and the proper slice-and-dice technique, the header can "bleed" into the Left Panel and Info Bar.
