The above XSitePro template uses the colours in the client's logo, plus a Celtic icon that is repeated subtly in the page background (look closely), and samples of the beautiful tarot cards the client sells. Design Tip: XSitePro 2.5 allows you to anchor background images to different parts of the page (top left, top center, top right, center left, center center, center right, bottom left, bottom center, bottom right). Go to Other > Web Site Settings > Image Alignment.

The above XSitePro template uses border-radius to create the rounded corner design. This gives the Web site owner a lot of flexibility and degrades very nicely in older browsers to square corners. The background is a large textured image that fills 100% of the browser (CSS). This works perfectly in modern browsers. Look carefully at the header. It is made up of multiple stock photo images blended together for an "ancient secrets" effect. The header background is just a Photoshop texture.

Folks, the above XSitePro template is qute simple, but look how soft and lovely it is! The owner provided us with the logo and some photos of their farm in the Netherlands. We chose the photo of the birds on the fence because the colours matched the logo closely and we loved the soft, misty-morning look. We pulled the red for the rollover in the top menu from the red dot at the top of the logo (it's hard to see the dot in this image). For continuity, we extended the green line under the logo across the photo, but behind the fence. Simple ideas that render a cohesive design. Design Tip: You don't have to get complicated to create an awesome Web site with XSitePro.
